Safety and family-friendly environments are another draw. Suburban areas often boast lower crime rates and more green spaces, making them ideal for families with children. Access to good schools and recreational facilities enhances the appeal for those focused on long-term living arrangements.

This emphasis on community and lifestyle has made suburbs attractive to a broad range of renters, from young professionals seeking balance to families prioritizing quality of life.

The rising preference for suburban rentals is reshaping housing markets across the U.S. Renters benefit from:
