Stevie Wonder’s Former Calabasas Estate on the Market for $15 Million

The renowned musician Stevie Wonder’s California estate, where he lived for over a decade, is now available for sale. Located in the affluent suburb of Calabasas, this expansive property is listed at $15 million and can also be rented for $65,000 per month. The real estate team handling the listing includes Branden Williams, Rayni Williams, Dennis DeWalt, and Brandon Meneses from The Beverly Hills Estates.

Property Background

Stevie Wonder acquired this impressive home in October 2000 for approximately $2.9 million. It was intended as a family residence for him and his then-fiancee, clothing designer Kai Milla Morris. Following their divorce in 2012, Morris continued to reside in the home, but is now selling it as their children have grown. This information was originally reported by The Wall Street Journal.

Property Features

The two-story home, built in 1992 and recently renovated, spans over 11,100 square feet and is situated on a nearly three-acre hillside lot in the gated Hidden Hills West community. It includes:

  • Six bedrooms and six bathrooms
  • A grand entryway with a marble foyer and spiral staircase
  • A formal dining room featuring a cozy fireplace
  • A family room with multiple picture windows
  • A gourmet kitchen with high-end appliances and custom cabinetry
  • An office boasting a marble fireplace and a gold-leaf chandelier in the upstairs area
  • A spacious primary suite with a private balcony and a luxurious bath

Outdoor Amenities

Outdoor features enhance the estate’s appeal, including:

  • A freeform swimming pool and a spillover spa
  • A sun deck surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens
  • A private lawn area perfect for family gatherings

Additional Information

Wonder, now 74, continues to maintain a diverse real estate portfolio, which includes several properties throughout Los Angeles, a significant property in Alpine, New Jersey, and his childhood home in Detroit. He married Tomeeka Robyn Bracy in 2017, further expanding his family roots.

For those interested in glimpsing the former home of this music legend, there are additional photos available through the listing.
